6The Course is specially designed to introduce the absolute beginner to the fundamentals of Qi Gong and Tai Chi Chuan.
 It comprises of various stances and exercises that are designed to assist beginners in acquainting themselves with the various motions that will be required in order to benefit from the study of this art. The reward of this study is the development of an efficient flow of Chi Energy throughout the whole body which results in suppleness in the joints and strength in the limbs. 

The policy of the Academy is to maintain a certain standard of excellence. Therefore, the Beginners Module is compulsory in order to proceed to the Tai Chi Modules.

QI GONG SYLLABUS
 
WK 1 - Introduction to the Correct Posture, Stance and Mind Breathing Chi Development exercise
WK 2 - Breath and Motion Coordination, Expansion of One's Chest, Drawing a Semi Circle with both Upright arms
WK 3 - Rotation of Arms in Shoulder sockets, Swinging Arms in Stationary Position, Circling Arms in Rowing Motion
WK 4 - Viewing Palms at 45 degrees opposite shoulder level, Turn 90 degree upwards and view sky, Turn body and push
WK 5  -Wave Hands Right and Left, Scooping Water and Viewing Sky, Rocking Back & Forth With Fingertips at Eye Level
WK 6 - Rolling Back & Forth Like Dove Flying, Punching With Outstretched Arms, Sit Ups Like Flying Goose
WK 7 - Windmills, Bouncing A Ball With Steps, Pressing The Palms Up & Down
WK 8 - Review all the above.

The cost of this module is £160 inclusive of association fees.
